Materials Fees

Listed fees for each class and workshop.

Each class or workshop requires materials and tools. Please note that there are both professional grade and budget grade tools offered. Another option is to supply your own tools and materials, or borrow from the shop. Tool borrowing not always possible and depends on class size and availability.

Copper Work

Complete material kit: $150

Includes: Copper sheet, Forging Steel, Sheet Metal Sheers, Rawhide Hammer, Ball Peen hammer, Planishing Hammer, Copper Rivets, Sandpaper.

Basic Material Kit: $50

Copper Sheet, Forging Steel, Large and Small Ball Peen Hammers, Rivets, Sand Paper.

Third Option: Bring your own and /or borrow if available.

Blacksmithing

These are the tools you'll use during class and are yours to bring home with your project.

Complete material kit: $150

Gloves, safety glasses, 2 Hammers, Tongs, Steel Brush, Leather Apron, Steel, Propane charge

Basic Kit: $50

Gloves, Safety glasses, Hammer, Steel, Propane.

Third Option: Bring your own, or borrow if available. NOT GUARANTEED.

Siege Engines

Required: Safety Glasses, Gloves, Graph Paper, Ruler, technical pens or pencils

Materials for siege engine class is dependent on whats being built. Building materials are salvaged, recycled, and resourced when possible.
